Nothing to something

Light bulbs at first had no power stations and cables.

Telephones at first had no poles and lines.

Cars at first had no petrol stations and roads.

Trains at first had no stations and rails.

Aeroplanes at first had no runways and routes.

The internet at first had no routers and subsea cables.

Invention is one thing. Commercialisation is what raises the capital to build the infrastructure. Both requires the will to see things through.

And now…

EVs have no charging networks.

Air taxis have no landing zones and lanes.

Space travel has no stations and routes.

Metaverse has no wearables and gateways.

Web3 has no mass application and interoperability.

Who will commercialise these?
